And I am on my way to the tar-Heel state. Last few days I have been poking around for more information about the family that built the house, the Tingles, and hooked up with a person who had the entire family tree all the way back to the 1600's from when they came over from England. Way cool. Am definitely going to spend some time at the County Seat, bayboro and try to go through old records, - land deeds, wills, etc. Have to try to contact the Pamlico County Historical Society too.
Really excited about going - think I am going to leave earlier on Sunday then I planned so I can arrive in the daylight and get my lamps and bed and closet-kitchen all set up. Doing all this in the dark is just a tad creepy. Very much wondering if there is any spirit activity in the house at all. Will try to snap random photos when I get there - before I start demo - as not to kick up dust - to see if I catch anything on film - and I am going to bring the digital voice recorder too...ya never know, may catch an evp or more. Probably should not freak myself out that way - but I do want to know.
Anyway - Three more days! Yea!
